Promotion Descriptions: ‘Free Chair Giveaway’ (“Game of skill”), begins on 21/07/2023 at 1 PM (Brisbane) and ends on 31/07/2023 at 11PM (Brisbane) (the “Promotion Period”).
By participating in the Game of skill each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Delux Party Hire Team, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Delux Party Hire is responsible for the collection, submission or processing of entries and the overall administration of the competition. Entrants should look solely to Delux Party Hire with any questions, comments or problems related to the game of skill draw.
Official Rules
The competition is open to all people aged 18 years and older, except for employees of the Delux Party Hire and their immediate family members.
To enter the ‘Free Chair Competition’, participants must upload a photo of themselves with their partner in the comments section of the competition post, and caption the photo telling us why free chairs would be the perfect addition to your wedding.
Only one entry per couple is allowed during the promotion period July 21 – 31 2023, and any duplicate or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.
The competition will run for 11 days, with the winner being selected from all eligible entries received during that period. Selection of the winner will take place on 1 August 2023.
The winner will be notified via Facebook messenger and they will have seven (7) days to respond to the message and book their free chair rental. Failure to respond the prize within this timeframe may result in the prize being forfeited, and another winner may be selected. Bookings must be made for events held within 12 months of the draw (by 1.8.24).
The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
Delux Party Hire reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice.
By entering the competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the decisions of the organisers, which are final and binding.
The personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and will be treated in accordance with the privacy policy.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes arising from or related to the competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
Eligibility: Open to legal residents of Australia and 18 years and older. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Delux Party Hire and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retailers, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective officers, directors and employees (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”), and members of their immediate families and/or persons living in the same household as such persons, are ineligible to enter the competition or win a prize.
Winners Selection: The winners of the Game of Skill will be selected based on the answer given to the question from among all eligible Entries received throughout the Promotion Period. The selection will be conducted within 48 hours by Delux Party Hire or its designated representative, whose decisions are final. Winners will be notified by Facebook messenger, provided in the entry information. Potential winner must accept the prize by reply message as directed by Delux Party Hire within 48 hours of notification. Any winner notification not responded to or returned as undeliverable may result in prize forfeiture and re-drawn. The potential prize winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability, and a Publicity Release (collectively “the Prize Claim Documents”). No substitution or transfer of a prize is permitted except by Delux Party Hire.
Prizes: ‘Free Chair Competition’ (“Game of skill”), ONE (1) winner will receive
30 rental chairs for free to use at this wedding, celebration, or other private event. Collection and return of chairs is the responsibility of the winner. Delivery and set-up of chairs is not included in the prize. Prize cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash or substituted by the winner. The Retail Value of 30 rental chairs is up to $315. The free chairs competition is presented in good faith, this is final and binding and cannot be appealed. Restrictions, conditions, and limitations may apply. The winner will enter into a hire agreement with Delux Party Hire. Prize will only be awarded to addresses within the Fraser Coast region, Australia. Failure to comply with the Official Rules will result in forfeiture of the prize.
Online Entry: Enter during the Promotion Period online by uploading a photo and adding a caption in the comments section of the competition post on Facebook.
Automated or robotic entries submitted by individuals or organisations will be disqualified. Internet entry must be made by the entrant. Any attempt by an entrant to obtain more than the stated number of Entries by using multiple/different logins or any other methods, including, but not limited to, commercial contest/sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering services, will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Final eligibility for the award of any prize is subject to eligibility verification as set forth below. All entries must be posted by the end of the promotion period in order to participate. Delux Party Hire database clock will be the official timekeeper for this competition.
Privacy: All entrants acknowledge that if they are chosen as a winner, certain identifying information may be disclosed to third parties at least as required by law, including, without limitation, on a winner’s list. All personal information submitted as part of the competition will not be shared by Delux Party Hire.
Winner’s List: To obtain a copy of the winner list contact Delux Party Hire via email events@deluxpartyhire.com.au with the subject Free Chairs Competition. Requests must be received no later than 3 months from the competition close date.

Delux Party Hire is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the competition or by any technical or human error, which may occur in the processing of submissions in the competition. Delux Party Hire assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay of operation or transmission, communications line failure, or alteration of Entries.
Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the competition. If, for any reason, the Competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Delux Party Hire which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, then Delux Party Hire reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition. In such an event, Delux Party Hire may, in its sole discretion, perform the random drawing from among all eligible entries received prior to or after such cancellation, suspension, or modification. In the event of a dispute concerning who registered online to participate in the Competition, the registration will be declared to have been made by the authorised account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an internet provider, online service provider, or other organisation (e.g., business, education institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. A potential winner may be requested to provide Delux Party Hire with proof that the potential winner is the authorised account holder of the email address. If a dispute cannot be resolved to Delux Party Hire satisfaction, the entry will be deemed ineligible.
