Size Recommendations
For most events you should assume half the guests will be dancing on the floor at once. If you know your guests love to dance then by all means upgrade to a bigger size dance floor. Having said that, you don't want a dance floor that is too big because it is harder getting people to dance!
Our recommendations in the sizing is based on Pop, Dance & Hip Hop Dancing. We recommend doubling the dancefloor size for heavy metal/rock and for traditional ballroom quadrupling the size of the dancefloor.
Eg. If you have 50 guests the standard dancefloor recommendation would be the 6m x 2.4m Dancefloor or if you are looking for a square dance floor a 4.8m x 4.8m. If you are playing heavy metal music and you have 50 guests, they need double the size floor so you need to look at a minimum 100 guest dancefloor eg. 7.2m x 3.6m. If you have 50 guests and you want ballroom dancing, then you need to look for a 200 guest dancefloor.
